Porte Grace is a fragment of fiction and of memory – of design inspirations ranging from spice merchant mansions, maritime travel, monsoon soaked narrow streets lined with French windows, of a Governor’s residence perched on a hill overlooking an old harbour.
We create this unique world by bringing to life, one of it’s
kind spatial narratives for clients; our version of storytelling through the unique power of objects, composition and interior architecture.

The Founder
Ambika spent 10 years living and studying in Switzerland where she completed her Bachelor of Science specialised in International Hospitality Management from The Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne.
She went on to work in Vietnam for 2 years where she set up resorts for Six Senses and then worked in asset management, overseeing 7 leisure assets across Vietnam including GHM and Hyatt properties, golf courses and luxury service apartments under the portfolio of Indochina Capital.
Ambika returned back to India in 2013 and co-founded her food company, CAARA.
Ambika + partners have been hospitality and lifestyle entrepreneurs for over 15 years and have been working on design projects with their team of architects, graphic designers, interior designers to bring over 50 commissions to life in India and the UK. Porte Grace was therefore a very natural progression to bring together these interests under one umbrella, and to project their design philosophy forward.
